The IEEE ICM is a forum for presentation, as well as a conduit for sharing advances and applications between research and regional industry. The IEEE International Conference on Information and Automation ICIA is the premier conference series presenting the state of the art and future perspectives of information and automation science, engineering and education.
Conferences & Workshops - IEEE Robotics and Automation Society
It has been an event for researchers, educators, industry experts, and academics to share ideas and experiences surrounding frontier technologies, breakthroughs and innovative solutions and applications. Papers are solicited in all areas of information and automation science, engineering and education. The IEEE International Conference on Automation and Logistics invites high quality papers reporting original research results and innovations in all aspects of information, automation, logistics, and applications. HRI is the 15th annual conference for basic and applied human-robot interaction research.
Researchers from across the world attend and submit their best work to HRI to exchange ideas about the latest theories, technology, data, and videos furthering the state-of-the-art in human-robot interaction.
Each year, the HRI Conference highlights a particular area through a theme. Cyber technology has grown tremendously in recent years as new generations of internet-friendly automation systems continue to usher in fundamental changes to our everyday lives in such areas as healthcare, energy, telecommunication, environment, and manufacturing. Research facilities in southern Africa and beyond are invited to present and share their work.
The symposium is open to all industries, research institutions, and hobbyists. The two-day main conference will be preceded by a day of workshops and tutorials. This is a great opportunity to meet other like-minded scientists in the interdisciplinary fields of pattern recognition, robotics and mechatronics.

BioRob covers both theoretical and experimental challenges posed by the application of robotics and mechatronics in medicine and biology. The primary focus of Biorobotics is to analyze biological systems from a "biomechatronic" point of view, trying to understand the scientific and engineering principles underlying their extraordinary performance. This profound understanding of how biological systems work, behave and interact can be used for two main objectives: to guide the design and fabrication of novel, high performance bio-inspired machines and systems for many different applications; and to develop novel nano, micro-, macro- devices that can act upon, substitute parts of, and assist human beings in prevention, diagnosis, surgery, prosthetics, rehabilitation and personal assistance.
The IEEE International Workshop on Advanced Robotics and its Social Impacts ARSO is a single track workshop, aiming to provide world class researchers, engineers, investors, economists, and representatives of industry and government with a forum to discuss cutting-edge robotics technologies, business opportunities, and other impacts on human society.
